I grew up in Southern Vermont and presently share a small organic farm with family and friends. I am a CCE approved Psychosynthesis Life Coach and a Vt. registered psychotherapist. I have a BA in Women’s Studies with a concentration in women’s health from the University of Massachusettes. I am a political & environmental activist. I value contemplation and meditation and the power of nature connection for personal and collective healing… and I love my work as a therapist!

My diverse life experiences have equipped me to understand many of the challenges that people face and to appreciate that everyone has their own unique journey. Besides my formal training mentioned above, I studied and taught Kripalu yoga and herbology, and I owned and ran an herbal products business. I was a professional carpenter. I worked as a labor assistant with home-birth midwives, taught in public and private schools, cared for elders in and out of nursing homes, and worked in adminstration under Vermont’s Council on Aging. I home-schooled my 2 children, and for 7 years was a massage therapist.

As a CCE approved life coach and as a Vermont registered psychotherapist, I integrate many personal experiences with training in focusing, psychosynthesis, meditation, and hypnotherapy.

I have 10 years of experience in intuitive counseling as well.

I am a licensed, ordained non-sectarian minister, inclusive to many faiths and spiritual traditions; in this context, I support emerging spiritual exploration, if and when those I work with feel inspired in such a direction. I do not proselytize nor do I promote any faith or religious orientation.
